About Scott Sea 98 26/27
The Scott SEA 98 is a freeride ski designed with playful and versatile skiing in mind. It is developed for everything from quick turns between snow-covered trees to powder and resort carving. With a 98 mm waist, the model features a width that Scott combines with a supple construction and Freeride Tip and Tail Rocker S.
A poplar wood core runs through the entire ski and extends all the way into the tips. The construction is designed to provide flexibility and responsiveness. In addition, Scott uses Air Tec technology along with fiberglass and Titanal reinforcement.
An important part of the SEA 98 is the Spin Tech in the tip. Together with the rocker profile, this technology helps the ski pivot, turn, and change direction with ease. Scott also highlights Spin Tech as a key feature for nose butters.
The rocker profile consists of Freeride Tip and Tail Rocker S. This means there is rocker in both the tip and tail, while the SEA 98 features a smaller rocker profile than the 'L' designation used on some other models in the series.
A full-length sidewall completes the construction and runs along the entire ski. Together with the poplar core, Titanal reinforcement, and fiberglass, it forms the foundation of the SEA 98.
The design also has a distinct identity. The model is adorned with Seahorse graphics, where the seahorse ties into the float and movement that Scott wants to convey with the SEA concept.

Bindings & mounting
When you buy skis and bindings together from us, mounting and adjustment are included at no extra cost. For us to mount the bindings, you need to enter your weight and the boot sole length (BSL) of your ski boots when you order. You will find the boot sole length on the outside of the boot heel, given as three digits followed by mm, for example 315 mm. The bindings are mounted and adjusted before the skis are shipped. If you would rather mount the bindings yourself, we can deliver the skis unmounted.
Care & warranty
To keep your skis performing at their best, we recommend regular waxing and checking the steel edges. Wax the skis when needed and sharpen the edges when they start to get dull or damaged. Wipe the skis dry after use and store them in a dry place. Before longer storage, we recommend cleaning the bases and treating them with a protective layer of wax. The warranty against manufacturing defects applies according to the manufacturer's terms. Normal wear and tear and damage caused by use are not covered by the warranty.

We ship your skis directly from our warehouse in Hestra, Sweden. Normal delivery time is 1 to 3 business days for items in stock. You have 30-day returns on unused products. Please note that skis with mounted bindings cannot be returned. Unmounted skis can be returned in accordance with our return policy.
