About Scott Sea 85 26/27

The Scott SEA 85 combines a narrower waist with a construction that focuses on stability, edge grip, and on-piste performance. With 84 mm underfoot in the 167 cm length, this model is designed for those who want to carve clean turns while maintaining control as the pace increases.

The core consists of poplar wood along the entire length of the ski, providing a lively and responsive feel. Furthermore, Scott has reinforced the construction with Titanal and fiberglass. This combination contributes to the stability at higher speeds that is one of the model's most important features.

The SEA 85 also features full-length sidewalls. This construction contributes to progressive edge grip and provides support throughout the turn. As a result, the ski is clearly oriented toward groomed runs, where control and smooth turns are the focus.

At the same time, Scott has chosen the Freeride Tip and Tail Rocker L, with rocker in both the tip and tail. This gives the SEA 85 a rocker profile derived from the freeride side, despite its clear orientation toward piste skiing.

In the 167 cm length, the ski measures 117 mm at the tip, 84 mm at the waist, and 107 mm at the tail. The turn radius is 14 meters, while the weight is approximately 1,750 grams.

The Scott SEA 85 is therefore the more piste-oriented model in the SEA family. The emphasis here is on smooth turns, stability at speed, and progressive edge grip for long days on groomed runs.

Bindings & mounting

When you buy skis and bindings together from us, mounting and adjustment are included at no extra cost. For us to mount the bindings, you need to enter your weight and the boot sole length (BSL) of your ski boots when you order. You will find the boot sole length on the outside of the boot heel, given as three digits followed by mm, for example 315 mm. The bindings are mounted and adjusted before the skis are shipped. If you would rather mount the bindings yourself, we can deliver the skis unmounted.

Care & warranty

To keep your skis performing at their best, we recommend regular waxing and checking the steel edges. Wax the skis when needed and sharpen the edges when they start to get dull or damaged. Wipe the skis dry after use and store them in a dry place. Before longer storage, we recommend cleaning the bases and treating them with a protective layer of wax. The warranty against manufacturing defects applies according to the manufacturer's terms. Normal wear and tear and damage caused by use are not covered by the warranty.

We ship your skis directly from our warehouse in Hestra, Sweden. Normal delivery time is 1 to 3 business days for items in stock. You have 30-day returns on unused products. Please note that skis with mounted bindings cannot be returned. Unmounted skis can be returned in accordance with our return policy.
