About Scott Sea 108 26/27

The Scott SEA 108 is the widest model in the SEA series and was developed for those who want to get the most out of deep snow days. With a 108 mm waist, the ski offers plenty of float in powder while maintaining a playful feel that makes it capable of going anywhere.

Thanks to the unique Spin Tec Rocker construction, the ski has a smooth turn initiation and natural edge transitions. This makes the SEA 108 easy to maneuver, while it still feels surprisingly nimble despite its width. Additionally, the long tip and tail rocker contribute to better flotation.

The core consists of a full-length poplar wood core that provides a consistent flex and a lively feel throughout the entire turn. At the same time, the construction is reinforced with carbon fiber, aramid, and Titanal, which provide better dampening and stability when speed increases or the snow conditions become more tracked out. Air Tec technology also reduces weight without compromising the ski's strength or performance.

The Scott Pure Freeride Sidecut makes the ski responsive and easy to steer, whether you are skiing in the woods, on open mountain faces, or taking a few turns back on the piste. The result is a freeride ski that combines playfulness with reliable stability. It works just as well on big powder days as it does in more varied conditions.

The Scott SEA 108 is suitable for advanced skiers looking for a modern freeride ski with plenty of float, high stability, and a playful character.

FAQ

Who is the Scott SEA 108 suitable for?

It suits advanced skiers who prioritize freeride and want a ski with maximum float, without sacrificing stability.

How does the SEA 108 differ from narrower models in the series?

The wider waist provides better buoyancy in powder and more stability in soft snow, while still retaining a playful feel.

What is Spin Tec Rocker?

Spin Tec Rocker is Scott's 3D rocker in the tip and tail, which provides smoother turn initiation, more natural edge transitions, and better float in varying snow conditions.

What does Air Tec Technology contribute?

Air Tec reduces weight by removing material where it does not affect the ski's performance, making it more agile without compromising stability.

What type of skiing is the Scott SEA 108 built for?

The SEA 108 is primarily developed for freeride, powder, and varied terrain, but also performs well when you need to make your way back via groomed pistes.

Bindings & mounting

When you buy skis and bindings together from us, mounting and adjustment are included at no extra cost. For us to mount the bindings, you need to enter your weight and the boot sole length (BSL) of your ski boots when you order. You will find the boot sole length on the outside of the boot heel, given as three digits followed by mm, for example 315 mm. The bindings are mounted and adjusted before the skis are shipped. If you would rather mount the bindings yourself, we can deliver the skis unmounted.

Care & warranty

To keep your skis performing at their best, we recommend regular waxing and checking the steel edges. Wax the skis when needed and sharpen the edges when they start to get dull or damaged. Wipe the skis dry after use and store them in a dry place. Before longer storage, we recommend cleaning the bases and treating them with a protective layer of wax. The warranty against manufacturing defects applies according to the manufacturer's terms. Normal wear and tear and damage caused by use are not covered by the warranty.

Shipping & returns

We ship your skis directly from our warehouse in Hestra, Sweden. Normal delivery time is 1 to 3 business days for items in stock. You have 30-day returns on unused products. Please note that skis with mounted bindings cannot be returned. Unmounted skis can be returned in accordance with our return policy.
