Nitro Squash 26/27

The Nitro Squash 26/27 is a powerful freeride snowboard developed for riders who want to combine high speed on the piste with maximum float in deep snow. The aggressive construction, together with the characteristic swallowtail shape, makes the board stable, fast, and very responsive in varied terrain.

The Tapered Swallowtail design also helps the tail to sink naturally in powder, while the nose floats up without you having to put as much effort backward. Therefore, the Squash feels agile and surfy in deep snow while still delivering a strong carving feel on the piste.

The True Camber profile also provides a lot of energy, stability, and edge grip throughout the turn. The result is a snowboard that accelerates powerfully out of carving turns and feels secure even at high speeds.

The Progressive Sidecut simultaneously helps to create smooth and controlled turns with a stable feel throughout the edge. Therefore, the Squash works very well for large carving turns, steep terrain, and varying snow conditions.

Powercore II together with Bi-Lite Laminates also contribute to low weight, fast response, and powerful flex. At the same time, the construction helps the board feel stable without becoming heavy or sluggish through the turns.

The sintered Sintered Speed Formula HD base also provides very good glide and helps the snowboard maintain speed through both powder and piste.

Nitro also uses several more sustainable material choices in manufacturing. The core consists of 100% FSC-certified wood, while large parts of the base and steel edges are made from recycled materials. The topsheet and wax are also developed with a focus on lower environmental impact.
