About Nitro Alternator 26/27 – Snowboard
The Nitro Alternator 26/27 is a powerful freeride snowboard built for high speed, big turns, and varied riding across the entire mountain. The board combines stability and precision with playful energy for riders who want to carve hard on the piste, float in powder, and always ride with full control.
The directional-shaped construction also helps the board create secure stability when speed increases while maintaining a smooth feel through turns. Therefore, the Alternator works equally well for carving as for technical riding in varied terrain.
The True Camber profile also provides a lot of response, pop, and power underfoot. The result is a snowboard with strong edge grip and explosive energy through turns, especially when the surface becomes harder or speed increases.
Dual Degressive Sidecut simultaneously helps to make edge changes faster and more responsive. Therefore, the board feels stable at high speed while still being easy to maneuver in tighter terrain and uneven conditions.
The Powerlite Core together with the Reflex Core Profile also creates a light and responsive construction with good control and natural flex. The Diamond Band reinforcement simultaneously contributes extra stability and better response during aggressive riding.
The sintered Sintered Speed Formula II base also provides very good glide. The Nitro Alternator 26/27 also uses several more sustainable material choices. The core consists of 100% FSC-certified wood while the base largely uses recycled material. Even steel edges, topsheet, and wax are developed with a focus on more sustainable production.

Care & warranty
To keep your skis performing at their best, we recommend regular waxing and checking the steel edges. Wax the skis when needed and sharpen the edges when they start to get dull or damaged. Wipe the skis dry after use and store them in a dry place. Before longer storage, we recommend cleaning the bases and treating them with a protective layer of wax. The warranty against manufacturing defects applies according to the manufacturer's terms. Normal wear and tear and damage caused by use are not covered by the warranty.
Shipping & returns
We ship your skis directly from our warehouse in Hestra, Sweden. Normal delivery time is 1 to 3 business days for items in stock. You have 30-day returns on unused products. Please note that skis with mounted bindings cannot be returned. Unmounted skis can be returned in accordance with our return policy.
