About Head Oblivion 102 26/27

The Head Oblivion 102 was developed in collaboration with Head's top freeskiers and offers a feel that suits both everyday skiers and those who want to try new things on the mountain. The tip and tail have a softer flex, which gives a tighter turning radius and makes the ski very playful. At the same time, it maintains the stability you need when the speed increases.

The core is a blend of poplar and recycled PET. This gives the ski a dynamic and comfortable feel underfoot, whether you're riding in powder or on harder surfaces. In addition, the recycled material contributes to a more sustainable product, without compromising on performance.

The twin-tip shape means the Oblivion 102 handles switch landings just as smoothly as regular forward skiing. This opens up for more creativity on the mountain, whether you like jibbing in the park or just want to be able to land backwards sometimes. With a 102 mm waist, the ski floats well in deeper snow, but at the same time works excellently for carving on the piste.

The Independent Suspension System, ISS, is developed to improve the ski's stability at high speeds by managing vibrations more effectively. TNT Rocker contributes to better float in soft snow and a more natural turn initiation. Together, they make the ski feel both secure and fun, regardless of the surface.

The Head Oblivion 102 is suitable for those who want a ski that can handle most things. Stable when needed, playful when you want it, and always ready for the next idea on the mountain.

FAQ

Who is the Head Oblivion 102 suitable for?

The ski is suitable for intermediate to advanced skiers who want a versatile twin-tip. It works for everyday piste skiing and for those who want to try a bit more creative skiing.

What does it mean that the core contains recycled PET?

Head blends poplar with recycled PET material in the core. This makes the ski more sustainable from an environmental perspective while maintaining a dynamic and responsive feel.

What does the ISS system do?

ISS, Independent Suspension System, helps manage vibrations and improve stability at high speeds. This makes the ski safer to ride hard, even when the surface is uneven.

Is the ski good in powder?

Yes. With a 102 mm waist and TNT Rocker, the ski floats well in deeper snow. At the same time, it is narrow enough to work well on the piste too.

Bindings & mounting

When you buy skis and bindings together from us, mounting and adjustment are included at no extra cost. For us to mount the bindings, you need to enter your weight and the boot sole length (BSL) of your ski boots when you order. You will find the boot sole length on the outside of the boot heel, given as three digits followed by mm, for example 315 mm. The bindings are mounted and adjusted before the skis are shipped. If you would rather mount the bindings yourself, we can deliver the skis unmounted.

Care & warranty

To keep your skis performing at their best, we recommend regular waxing and checking the steel edges. Wax the skis when needed and sharpen the edges when they start to get dull or damaged. Wipe the skis dry after use and store them in a dry place. Before longer storage, we recommend cleaning the bases and treating them with a protective layer of wax. The warranty against manufacturing defects applies according to the manufacturer's terms. Normal wear and tear and damage caused by use are not covered by the warranty.

Shipping & returns

We ship your skis directly from our warehouse in Hestra, Sweden. Normal delivery time is 1 to 3 business days for items in stock. You have 30-day returns on unused products. Please note that skis with mounted bindings cannot be returned. Unmounted skis can be returned in accordance with our return policy.
