head-discovery-86-pro-26-27
Head Discovery 86 Pro 26/27

The Head Discovery 86 Pro is a versatile all-mountain ski for skiers who want to be able to ski all over the mountain without compromising on feel on the piste. With an 86 mm waist, it performs particularly well in soft and chopped snow, but it also delivers impressive edge grip and a stable feel on groomed slopes.

Thanks to its balanced construction, the Discovery 86 Pro works equally well during freshly groomed morning hours as when the snow becomes more varied later in the day. This makes it an excellent choice for skiers who want a ski for all types of conditions.

The core consists of wood and is built with HEAD's Superframe construction, which provides a stable and compliant feel. Graphene is used to optimize weight distribution and create a lightweight yet very responsive ski.

One of the most interesting features is HEAD's Auxetic technology. The material reacts to load, making the ski stiffer the more it is pressed. This means the ski feels light and compliant during calmer skiing, but offers more stability and support when the pace increases and turns become more aggressive.

Allmountain Rocker facilitates turn initiation and provides extra float in softer snow. At the same time, the well-thought-out geometry makes the ski feel safe and predictable in all types of turns.

The Head Discovery 86 Pro suits intermediate to advanced skiers looking for a high-performance all-mountain ski with a wide range of use.

Head Discovery 86 Pro, Specifications

Sidecut: 130-86-113 mm (170 cm)

Radius: 15.2 m (170 cm)

Allmountain Rocker

Superframe

Wood Core

Graphene

All-mountain skis, Men

Skier Level: Intermediate-Advanced

UHM C Base

Auxetic technology

FAQ

Who is the Head Discovery 86 Pro suitable for?

These skis are suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers who want an all-mountain ski with good performance both on piste and in softer or chopped snow.

How wide is the Head Discovery 86 Pro?

The ski has an 86 mm waist.
